About the Role

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our software development team. The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our clients and the development team, ensuring that software solutions align with business needs and objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing data, and facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities.
Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business objectives, processes, and requirements.
Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to elicit comprehensive requirements.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable software requirements.

Documentation and Analysis:
Create detailed functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flows.
Analyze and prioritize requirements to ensure alignment with project goals and constraints.
Identify potential issues or gaps in requirements and propose solutions.

Communication and Collaboration:
Actively listen, take notes, and help act/ support on immediate next step activities.
Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical team members.
Ensure that project requirements are well-understood by all team members.

Quality Assurance:
Assist in defining acceptance criteria and testing scenarios to validate software against requirements.
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and issue resolution.

Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in software development and business analysis.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the BA role.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in requirements gathering and documentation techniques.

  • Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).

  • Knowledge of project management tools and techniques.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
